Holiday Crafts

After being addicted to pinning on Pinterest for a few months now- I tried my hand at some holiday crafts. It is hard to believe that my favorite holiday has already come and gone- but I am already pinning new decorating ideas for next year.
I took a few of our leftover mason jars from the wedding and re-used them. I put snowflake stickers on the jars then sprayed them with a frosted glass spray. I peeled off the stickers, put some ribbon and greenery around the top, and lit a candle inside- love them.
I have also started a "modge-podge" frenzy, it helps that it perfectly rhymes with my name. I made these letters and bought the jingle bell for the "o". I wish I would have gone a more vintage direction- until next year. I also modge-podged frames with holiday paper with my second graders. I took picture of them with Santa hats or reindeer ears on and put them inside. They turned out very cute!
Every year David and I exchange Christmas ornaments representing our favorite memory from that year. Obviously one of them was our wedding. I took too long to shop at the Hallmark store and couldn't find a good "wedding" ornament. I decided to get out the modge-podge again and make an ornament using a wooden H and some of our favorite wedding pictures. I love it!
